The annual general meeting of the PTA was held in February 2003. Attendance was poor, but a committee was formed, with Ronny Cham as the President. The first meeting of the PTA 2003 was held on 31st March 2003 at Ronny's house, attended by Ronny, Laurentius, John, Mui Len, Estonella, Kathryn and Puan Yati. Ronny presented his ideas on a complete overhaul of the PTA to Parents Council with many committees headed by the executive members of the Council. The members present chose committees to serve in and other names were suggested for the available committees. At the first meeting, it was agreed that the School would arrange for the parents of the secondary school students to meet and listen to Ronny explain the new structure of the Council. The second meeting was held on 19th June 2003 at Kathryn Rivai's house, to discuss and agree on the changes to the Constitution of the Parents Council. Attendance: Ronny, Kathryn, Laurentius, John, Mui Len, Margaret, Penelope; Dr. Sidhu and Janny did not attend. The committees were all taken up by the various executive members, as listed in Sub-committees. A courtesy call was also planned on the Patron of the Council, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Management, Pengiran Hussein. This was done on 30th June 2003. |
